Yahoo! to support OpenID

Good move, Yahoo! From today, we shouldn’t allow any website to force us create an username and password during a registration process.

By the way, if you’re involved in the development of a website, I strongly recommend you to go for Drupal. Among many other reasons, OpenID support is included in the core. And the new version 6 is just around the corner!

  2. Wow, interesting times! Will Yahoo! accept the offer?

Regarding OpenID I don’t see any problem, it’s a mechanism independent from Yahoo!, they’re just supporting it (no more, and no less).
