FOSDEM is the Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting, organized every year by volunteers at the ULB in Brussels. I think I wanted to attend this conference since the first edition, but unfortunately I never made it. Of course, this year it’s gonna be different.
The details for the 2008 edition are being revealed little by little in their Drupal-based website. We already know the keynote and the main track speakers –it doesn’t look as impressive as previous years though–, the developer rooms, the stands and some certification opportunities (LPI and BSD).
Did you want a good reason to come to Brussels? Here you have one.

The main tracks of Fosdem are just the top of the iceberg.
The devrooms are often flooded with speakers you would expect to see in the main tracks of other conferences.

Thanks Chris for the information, I’m not yet familiar with the FOSDEM structure. Will not miss the Drupal devroom in any case ;-)
